With over 30 years in the convention business, Chuck has held many senior-level sales and marketing positions in convention centers, hotels, and destination marketing organizations. His sales and marketing knowledge in the convention business has attracted a loyal following of industry leaders looking for his guidance and support in growing their business. In 2015 he founded The Hilpl Group, LLC (THG) and he and his team work hand in hand with associations and corporations across the country assisting them with their convention show sales and show management.
Outside of work, Chuck is an avid fine-art oil painter. He can often be found on the streets of his hometown, Philadelphia, behind his easel with a paintbrush in hand working on a cityscape.
Pat joined Chuck in the entrepreneurial world in June 2018, after spending 20+ years at the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) in various senior business development roles, culminating in Executive Director, Citywide Sales, successfully securing major citywide conventions at the Pennsylvania Convention Center that generated enduring economic impact results for the Philadelphia region.
Pat also represented San Francisco Travel for two years directing the efforts of their Washington, DC office. Prior to joining the convention bureau world, Pat held a variety of senior sales leadership positions with Marriott, Wyndham, and Ritz-Carlton hotels.
For fun, Pat loves to garden, is a Sunday chef, wanders the neighborhoods with Bridie (their canine office mate) and reads avidly.
